90 Days Notice Period ..is it really that bad?
Last night I had an interesting call with one of my close friends. He was so frustrated with his current company that he decided to resign without any offer in hand. I tried to convince him to wait till he gets his first offer but it didn't work. Then I thought is it really that bad to leave a job without any offer in hand? I found so many articles online that talk about how to handle this 90-day notice period but no one talks about what to do if you already resigned. So decided to write this article and share my experience .
Let's talk about the elephant in the room first.
When you have 90 days notice period it's really hard to get a job. Most of employers prefer candidates who can join early within a month or so.
So then how do you find job ??? there are a couple of things you can do ..
Start a side gig as a freelancer so you won't have to worry about money
This may be the best approach but it requires lots of time and resources to get your first client and start your freelance journey
Most of us don't have side gigs. What should we do then?
Join the other company on a contractual basis.
Very few companies provide this option. But if do get it go for it.
